- We are seeking a skilled Robotics Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and developing electrical systems for robotic applications. You will play a crucial role in developing our mobile robots and custom automation solutions, working closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers.
General requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuit design, and power electronics.
- Proven experience in designing and developing electrical systems for robotics or automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle PCB, Easy EDA).
- Strong understanding of motor control, power electronics, and embedded systems.
- Familiarity with sensors, actuators, and control systems used in robotics.
- Understanding of communication protocols (e.g., CAN, SPI, I2C).
- Experience with microcontrollers and embedded systems programming.
- Experience with compliance standards and safety regulations relevant to electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with measuring equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.
- Hands-on soldering experience.
- Upper-Intermediate English level (B2).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with mobile robotics or collaborative robots.
- Familiarity with Robot Operating System (ROS) and its applications.
- Knowledge of industrial automation systems and PLCs.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test electrical systems for mobile robots and robotic arms.
- Create schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams for robotic electrical systems.
- Select and integrate electrical components such as motors, sensors, controllers, and actuators.
- Collaborate with mechanical and software engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in prototypes and deployed systems.
- Ensure all electrical designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Optimize electrical designs for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Calibrate motors according to the set procedure.
- Document all electrical design processes and updates thoroughly.
- Support remote team members during various types of testing.
