Healthcare IoT Solutions for Automatic Reflex Diagnostics

Challenge

It usually takes several days or, in more complicated cases, several weeks from a doctor visit to the administration of treatment. This negatively affects the patient's health and delays treatment, which is especially dangerous in cases of serious diseases, when every minute matters.

This is where unconventional diagnosis methods come into play. Powered by computer technology, they allow physicians to find hidden patterns in the human body that lead to disease and prevent serious conditions at the earliest stage possible.

Solution

For one of our clients, a major healthcare provider, we have engineered and built a custom Automatic Reflex Diagnostics System — a set of a portable measurement device and a software solution for express diagnostics based on the electropunctual diagnostics method of Y. Nakatani, a Japanese professor of Biological Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology.

The measurement device performs a quick test of a patient’s reflexes, sends the results via Bluetooth, and then the software processes the obtained data and identifies a patient's health status. Compared to traditional medical diagnostics methods, our Automatic Reflex Diagnostics System helps examine patients much more quickly, within 15-20 minutes, and more importantly reveal probable pathology of internal organs and systems of the organism at earlier stages.

In addition to the system, we have created Energy points, a guide for physicians that describes which body points are responsible for certain symptoms and signs of disease. Using it, doctors can interpret diagnostic tests and make an accurate diagnosis.
