We are looking for a skilled Robotics Electronic Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and developing electrical systems for robotic applications. General requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuit design, and power electronics
- Proven experience in designing and developing electrical systems for robotics or automation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle PCB, EasyEDA)
- Strong understanding of motor control, power electronics, and embedded systems.
- Familiarity with sensors, actuators, and control systems used in robotics
- Understanding of communication protocols (e.g., CAN, SPI, I2C)
- Experience with microcontrollers and embedded systems programming
- Experience with compliance standards and safety regulations relevant to electrical systems
- Hands-on experience with measuring equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.
- Hands-on soldering experience
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with mobile robotics or collaborative robots
- Familiarity with the Robot Operating System (ROS) and its applications
- Knowledge of industrial automation systems and PLCs
Bonus points:
- Upper-intermediate English level (B2)
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test electrical systems for mobile robots and robotic arms
- Create schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams for robotic electrical systems
- Select and integrate electrical components, including motors, sensors, controllers, and actuators
- Collaborate with mechanical and software engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in prototypes and deployed systems
- Ensure all electrical designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations
- Optimize electrical designs for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
- Calibrate motors according to established procedures
- Thoroughly document all electrical design processes and updates
- Support remote team members during various types of testing
