We are looking for a Python Backend Developer to join our team.
Basic requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of experience in backend development, with a primary focus on Python
- Demonstrated proficiency with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Auth0, Pytest, and Airflow
- Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and databases
- Bonus points for experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructures, and CI/CD
- Good verbal and written English communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain highly secure, stable, scalable, and engaging Python backend services using FastAPI and SQLAlchemy
- Implement secure, programmatic access control using Auth0 and handle all aspects of user authentication and authorization
- Write comprehensive, robust test cases using Pytest to ensure the codebase is fully covered and avoid production bugs
- Manipulate and ingest large datasets efficiently with Airflow and ensure all data processes are scalable and reliable
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and ship new features.
- Participate actively in design and code reviews
- Debug production issues across multiple levels of the stack
- Create system documentation for design, maintenance, and support
